More information is needed about some bus services operating between Naas and Sallins

Specifically Cllr Sorcha O'Neill has asked Kildare County Council to write to Irish Rail asking that feeder bus times to and from the railway station be made available to the public. She said this should be on the Irish Rail website as well as on information boards on both platforms at the station. She said people new to Naas or Sallins are likely to be unaware of the service.

“Currently, there is nowhere to access this information. It's not published anywhere that I know of. No one knows what times it's at, where it stops, how much it costs. I think the service would be more widely used if this was done. I would be more motivated to use the train if it was more accessible from Naas.”

Cllr Carmel Kelly said not enough information is available at school buses operating in the Sallins area. Cllr Kelly said there is a need for more information about bus times and this should be provided in the bus bays, where it easily accessible by those using the service.
