Members of St Corban's BNS performing at the RDS
The choir of St Corbans School in Naas were among 2500 children who performed in the RDS at the spectacular Peace Proms concert last month.
The choir made up of boys from 4th, 5th and 6th classes, with teacher Carina Mc Carville as their dedicated choir leader. They perform at school ceremonies like confirmations and graduations.
They performed with the Cross Border Orchestra and a host of soloists, conducted by Greg Beardsell. The Peace Proms is an educational choral project which aims to promote peace, unity and diversity while engaging children in an exceptional fun and rewarding musical experience. Established in 1995 the Cross Border Orchestra performs at the Peace Proms and it has played a vital role in buying promoting cross border relations.
