Local Kildare based dealerships Crossings Toyota on the Sallins Road in Naas and Monasterevin Motors are launching their inaugural Daffodil Drive this Friday, to help raise funds for The Irish Cancer Society.
This event commences this Friday, March 23 to coincide with Daffodil Day and will also run on Saturday 24.
Both dealerships are donating €10 to the Irish Cancer Society for every test drive taken on both of those days.
The funds raised will help the Irish Cancer Society ensure that no one has to face cancer alone as The Irish Cancer Society is 98% funded by corporate and public donations.
“Every three minutes in Ireland someone gets a cancer diagnosis. Every hour someone dies from cancer. Incidence of cancer is growing and by 2020, 1 in 2 of us will get a cancer diagnosis in our lifetime. Cancer is something that everyone has been affected by, either directly or indirectly,” said the organisers.
Crossings Toyota and Monasterevin Motors hope to raise as much money as possible for the Irish Cancer Society to help fund research and provide care, advice and support to patients.
If you would like to be a part of the Daffodil Drive, Call Crossings Toyota on 045 897 589 or Monasterevin Motors on 045 525 255 and schedule a test drive.
