Water problems in Newbridge and Kildare town this Wednesday

Water supply problems are being reported in Newbridge and Kildare town this morning.

According to Kildare County Council, householders in Pairc Mhuire, Highfield, Dara Park and Piercetown areas of Newbridge are experiencing issues with water pressure.

Crews are unable to detect the cause of this issue and the Council is asking all householders to check their front/back gardens for leaks/bursts. The waterworks section are unable to rectify the low pressure issue until the leak/burst is located. Should a householders detect a leak on their property please contact waterworks on 045 431364.

Meanwhile, repairs to a burst watermain are being carried out in Kildare town today. The Campion Crescent, Assumpta Villas and Melitta Road  areas will be affected from 10am – 4pm.
