SCHOOLS UPDATE: Here's what schools will remain closed/reopen tomorrow

Kildare schools have started to announce their plans for Monday, with a number of schools making the decision early to open. 

Here's some schools who have announced their intentions on Facebook/Twitter/Websites for Monday, March 5:

Rathmore National School will remain closed, Monday March 5.

Prosperous National School will remain closed, Monday March 5.

St Farnan's Post Primary, Prosperous will remain closed, Monday March 5.

St. Conleth's and Mary's WILL REOPEN, Monday March 5.

North Kildare Educate Together will remain closed, Monday March 5.

Patrician's Newbridge WILL REOPEN from 9am on Monday, March 5.

Naas CBS will remain CLOSED, Monday March 5.

Scoil Mhuire Allenwood will remain CLOSED tomorrow Monday March 5.

Athy College plans to be open on Monday March 5. They say; "There may be extreme cases where staff or students are unable to safely make their way to school but we are planning to return to normal classes on Monday."

St. Wolstan's Community School will remain closed, Monday March 5.

Bunscoil Bhride in Rathangan will REOPEN tomorrow Monday March 5

Salesian College Celbridge: "Please note that the weather situation will be reviewed on Sunday and students and parents will be notified on Sunday what the situation is." See their Facebook for more.

Scoil Dara Kilcock: A decision will be made this evening at 5pm regarding the reopening tomorrow. "The school has been inspected but access routes to the school such as foot paths still remain an issue and the school has been informed that Bus routes with the exception of the Enfield route will not be operational (please check www.buseireann.ie for updates on bus routes)". Check their website for more.

Kildare Town Educate Together NS will re-open tomorrow morning, Monday March 5 at the usual time.

Naas Community College: "A decision about opening tomorrow (Monday March 5) will be made this evening.

Piper's Hill College Naas will remain closed tomorrow, Monday March 5.

Maynooth Post Primary school and Maynooth Community College will remain closed tomorrow March 5.

Ardscoil Rath Iomgháin Rathangan: "We are monitoring the weather conditions and hope to return to school as normal on Monday." Keep an eye on their website here.

Holy Family Newbridge WILL REOPEN, Monday March 5.

Árdscoil na Tríonóide Athy will REOPEN, Monday March 5.

Caragh NS will remain CLOSED, Monday March 5.

Scoil Phádraig Clane will remain CLOSED Monday, March 5.

Confey College in Leixlip will REOPEN, Monday March 5. "The school will reopen tomorrow with tutorial at 10.02 and 1st class at 10.10. Limited Supervision will be available for students dropped earlier from 8.30. The later start is to allow everyone to travel safely to work. Both hills are clear and the schoolyard. There is only one lane open in some areas so please allow extra time and take care. School bus will run 1 hour later than normal time. 
Please wear PE gear to school and appropriate footwear. Please exercise caution when driving and when walking on footpaths. We are aware that conditions are varied in all areas so parents need to make the best decision possible for their son/daughter."
