Those seeking medical assistance are being advised to stay away from Naas Hospital today, due to the high numbers seeking treatment at its Accident and Emergency Department.
A statement issued by the hospital this morning said that the HSE’s escalation policy has been activated at the Kildare facility.
“In order to assist us we are requesting that patients in the first instance, consider using their GP for medical assessment, where possible.
“The situation will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.”
Patients were also advised on Monday to stay away from the hospital for the same reason.
