The late Dane Loakman
The funeral of Dane Loakman, the 16-year-old tragically killed when struck by a car in Sallins on Monday morning, will be held on Friday next.
The teenager was involved in a road traffic collision outside his home in the Castlefen estate on the Clane road at 7.45am Monday morning, November 27. He passed away in Beaumont Hospital on Tuesday evening.
Dane is survived by his loving mother Alison, brother Codey, nanny and grandad, great-grandparents, aunties, uncles, grandaunts, granduncles, cousins and a wide circle of friends.
He will repose at his residence on Thursday from 2pm to 8pm, with rosary at 7pm. The removal will take place on Friday at 11.15am to arrive at The Church of the Guardian Angels, Sallins, for 12 noon funeral Mass, followed by burial in Bodenstown Cemetery. The family have requested that the house be private on Friday morning.
