Kildare town has been selected for a Bank of Ireland Enterprise town initiative and will host a business, sports and community expo on December 10 next from 11am to 2pm.
The launch of the initiative, which seeks local businesses to come on board, was held at the Hertitage Centre on Monday, November 14.
According to Lena McAuliffe from the Bank, the expo will take place in The Kildare House Hotel. It is free to attend and open to both customers and non-customers of Bank of Ireland.
“Bank of Ireland are very excited to host the Enterprise Town initiative in Kildare,” said Lena.
“We are delighted to see the great level of support from the local communities for the initiative and are calling on businesses to get involved.”
The Enterprise Town initiative gives businesses the opportunity to promote what they have to offer.
“It takes a community to build a community and with the platform Enterprise Town provides, matched with the commitment shown from the people of both towns, the Kildare Enterprise Town initiative promises to deliver a major boost to the local economy and community life,” she added.
“The event is a fantastic opportunity for Kildare and the surrounding areas.”
Businesses, clubs and societies interested in taking part in the events can register by emailing Kildare Branch Manager, Amanda McDermott, on Amanda.firstname.lastname@example.org for a registration form or calling into the Kildare branch to speak to a member of staff.
