A Newbridge woman has been appointed boss of the Society of Missionary Children.
Originally from Moorefield Park, Julieann Moran has now taken up her role as National Secretary of the charity, which encourages a spirit of sharing, caring and praying for children in the developing world.
“I am thrilled to secure this position. As an organisation World Missions Ireland does amazing work and I am so glad to be now part of it. I am so looking forward to working with children and the schools who actively and generously support Missionary Children. I am delighted to see that there is still enormous good will towards Missionary Children,” she said.
It is governed by World Missions Ireland, which supports d projects in up to 80 countries.
A Master’s graduate in Theology from St Patrick’s College in Maynooth, Julieann has a long track record of working in ecclesial and educational roles. Fr. Maurice Hogan, National Director welcomed Julieann to the team.
