Wash your jersey and get your boots polished, because a football fest is coming soon to Kildare town.
The event was announced on August 2 last by Kildare town AFC, and is being held in aid of the club's 3G astro pitch fundraiser.
Explaining the nature of the event, Kildare town AFC said that those who attend can assemble their dream 6-a-side team for the event.
The club also laid out some ground rules for the event:
"This is more than football - it's a community movement," the club added. "Bring your mates, bring you fans, bring the noise!"
Lastly, the club said that the event will feature "food, music, fun and fierce competition".

The football fest will kick off at 10am on Saturday, August 23, 2025.
