Construction of 88 apartments in Kildare on hold as developers go back to council

A firm has re-applied for planning permission for 88 apartments in Kildare town. 

The original planning permission for the project at Bishopsland expired in 2023. 

The apartments are planned in two 3 and 4 storey blocks and include car parking, bin and bicycle stores and public / communal open spaces.

The site is at Oak Church, Dunmurry Road and the southern internal link road.
