Tom Farrell from Kennycourt, Brannockstown, celebrated his 90th birthday at the Hotel Keadeen with his family and friends.
Tom originally worked in Manchester as a General Foreman and on his return to Ireland, he became the Roads Manager for the County Council. Tom enjoyed many happy years in his chosen career.
Tom is one of 11 children with 7 sisters and 3 brothers.
He was very happily married to his lovely wife, the late Mary Farrell.
Tom is described as "always the soul of any party and enjoys a dance and the craic."
