Green light for 20 attractive homes in €3.5m housing scheme in Clane

A total of 20 new homes have been granted planning permission in Clane.

The demolition of an existing dwelling and outbuildings on the site on the Sallins Road will make way for the development. 

The dwellings will consist of

• 2-storey terrace block containing 6  3-bed houses, including bin and bike stores to mid-terrace units,
• 1 2-storey terrace block containing 3 3-bed houses and 2 1-bed maisonettes, including bin and bike stores to mid-terrace units
• 1 part single and part 2-storey terrace block containing 2 single storey 1-bed maisonettes, and 7 2-storey 2-bed houses, including bin and bike stores to mid-terrace units.

The existing vehicular entrance will be upgraded.

A new recessed access road off the R407 (Sallins to Clane road) will also be built.
