The four adult males arrested on Monday in connection the discovery of 19 petrol bombs in a car in Carbury, have been charged.
All four are expected to appear before Naas District Court this morning (Wednesday).
Gardaí said that investigations are ongoing.
Gardaí arrested five individuals and seized several improvised explosive devices on Monday as part of ongoing investigations targeting organised criminal activity in County Kildare.
At approximately 11:30 p.m., Detective Gardaí attached to Leixlip Garda Station intercepted a car in the Carbury area.
Following a search of the vehicle, a total of 19 petrol bombs were recovered.
Four adult males were subsequently arrested and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at a Garda station in County Kildare.
