Calling all foodies: Rachel Allen among special guests at Taste of Kildare food festival

The popular Taste of Kildare food festival returns this September at Naas Racecourse. 

Now in its third year, the culinary festival promises to showcase the best food and drink Kildare has to offer. It will run from Friday 20 to Sunday 22 September. 

The three-day event will offer a range of activities for people to immerse themselves in, such as tastings, workshops, cooking demonstrations, and live music. 

To celebrate Kildare's vibrant cuisine, some of the county's most loved restaurants and food trucks will make appearances throughout the weekend like Dew Drop Brewhouse, Neighbourhood Naas, Hartes of Kildare, Lock 13 Brewpub, Silken Thomas, Ballymore Inn, and Lemongrass Fusion.

Some of Ireland's most well known chefs will also be attending the festival to showcase their signature dishes, techniques and experience such as Rachel Allen, Mindi Keane, Ross Lewis, Melissa McCabe, Niall Sabongi and Martin Shanahan.

As well as this, some of Kildare's finest homegrown chefs will also be returning to their native county to take part in the culinary celebrations like Jordan Bailey, Derry Clarke, Natalie Collins, Graham Herterich, Gareth Naughton and Gary O'Hanlon.

Even the little ones are catered to at this year's festival with Family Day being held on Sunday 22. Sponsored by Bord na Móna, the Family Day will allow families to experience child-friendly curated food samples, face-painting and even mini master chef classes! 

And if you can find a babysitter, you're in for an unforgettable night with Bingo Loco x Bacardi on Saturday. The global sensation Bingo Loco has teamed up with the iconic Bacardi to bring you some celebrations and cocktails at this year's Taste of Kildare.
