There are plans to convert a dry cleaners / laundry facility in Athy into a restaurant.
A planning application was submitted to Kildare County Council on the matter.
Being proposed is the change of use from retail to restaurant / food takeaway.
Also in the plans are internal alterations and changes to street front signage.
The total floor area of the proposed new premises is 86 square metres.
The estimated construction value of the planned project is over €100,000.
