Heroic fundraisers Aoife Murphy (7), Evie Walsh (6) and Hollie Walsh (6)

Aoife Murphy (7), Evie Walsh (6) and Hollie Walsh (6) from Oak Glade, Naas sold a variety of items to help raise money for Gaza. The girls raised €383 at their lemonade stand on the afternoon of Saturday, August 17.
The brilliant fundraising trio sold loomband brackets, juice, lemonade, brownies and rocky road treats. The group also put posters up around Oak Glade in Naas that included the Palestine flag and outlined what they were selling.
When asked about the fundraiser, seven year-old Aoife Murphy said, “I really wanted to help the people in Gaza because of the horrible things that are happening there."
Locals said that the effort was 'a lovely way to bring the community together' and that both neighbours and friends were very generous.
