Green light for new homes in Ballymore Eustace in multi-million euro development

KILDARE: New homes planned in Ballymore Eustace in proposed multi-million euro development

A €2.7m apartment development has been granted planning permission in Ballymore Eustace. 
 
Approval has been given for 11 apartments on the Main Street of the village.

The permitted development consists of: 

  •  refurbishment of an existing 2-bed house;
  • refurbishment and change of use of a separate adjoining building (often referred to as The Forge) to retail use;
  • demolition of a family flat (formerly a hair salon) which forms part of the existing 2-bed house;
  • creation of new vehicle access which leads to the rear of the site and ten car parking bays and ten bicycle spaces;
  • construction of a residential building containing two floors and five 2-bed duplex apartments, four 2-bed apartments and two 1-bed apartments.

The total site area is 0.17 hectares, according to Building Information Ireland database.
