LATEST: €2m plan to renovate derelict Kildare shop

Plans have been revealed to renovate a derelict shop into a storage warehouse development.

A planning application for the proposed project at Cadamstown, Broadford was submitted to Kildare County Council by Joepa Property Limited.

Being planned is the change of use and renovation of an existing derelict shop.

Being proposed are canteen and staff facilities for office use.

Also in the designs is a single-storey extension to the rear of the existing derelict shop for office use.

Also planned is the erection of a storage warehouse for commercial use.

A vehicle entrance, access driveway, car parking, cycle parking and landscaping are all included. 

The estimated construction value of the project is €2m.
