There are plans to convert a vacant building into a 12 bedroom guesthouse.
A planning application was submitted to Kildare County Council by Emerald Project Management Limited.
The premises is located at Ralph Square in Leixlip.
Being planned is the replacement of internal partition walls, doors and window openings.
The designs include a reception area, a kitchen, an accessible bathroom, eight bedrooms (seven ensuite) and a toilet at ground floor level.
Four bedrooms (three ensuite) and a toilet will be located at first floor level.
A staff room is also included in the plans as well as landscaping, according to Construction Information Ireland database.
