Gardaí are continuing to appeal to the public for information in relation to this incident.
Two women and one man have been arrested by gardaí as part of an investigation into the fatal assault of a man which occurred in Lucan.
A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said: "Gardaí in Crumlin are continuing to investigate a fatal assault on a man in his 30s that is understood to have occurred sometime between Saturday, January 6, 2024 and the early hours of Sunday, January 7, 2024 in Dublin.
"The man in his 30s was discovered at approximately 3am on Sunday, January 7, 2024 with serious injuries at an apartment in Lucan, County Dublin.
"He was later pronounced deceased at Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown."
The spokesperson continued: "Two women in their 40s and a man in his 30s were arrested yesterday (Thursday, May 30, 2024) as part of this investigation.
"They are currently being detained at a number of Garda Stations in the Dublin region under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
"This investigation is continuing from an Incident Room at Crumlin Garda Station under the direction of a Senior Investigating Officer (SIO)."
"A Garda Family Liaison Officer (FLO) continues to keep the deceased's family informed of developments," they concluded.
The spokesperson also said that gardaí are continuing to appeal to the public for information in relation to this incident: "Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to contact Crumlin Garda Station on 01 666 6200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station."
