A garda spokesperson said that a sum of money was taken during the course of the incident.
A County Kildare resident was threatened by three masked burglars earlier this week.
The incident was discussed by Detective Garda Shona Nolan on KFM this morning.
She said that on Monday, May 27 last, at around midnight, three masked men entered a property located in Lipstown, Narraghmore, armed with 'implements.'
Det Gda Nolan also said that they threatened the owner and fled with a sum of cash from the property.
She added that the vehicle that the men left the scene in was spotted heading in the direction of Narraghmore.
Det Gda Nolan concluded by urging anyone with information to contact Athy Garda Station on 059 863 4210.
The Leinster Leader contacted the official press office of An Garda Síochána in relation to the matter.
In response, here is what a garda spokesperson had to say: "Gardaí attended the scene of a burglary at a property in Narraghmore, County Kildare in the early hours of Monday, May 29, 2024.
"The incident occurred at approximately 12am.
"A sum of money was taken during the course of the incident."
The spokesperson concluded: "Investigations are ongoing."
