Naas Courthouse.
A Naas District Court defendant was accused of issuing a death threat against his ex-partner.
The man, who is currently remanded in custody, appeared via video-link before Judge Desmond Zaidan on Thursday, May 23 last, as part of an in-camera (in private) court session.
The court was told by defending barrister Aisling Murphy that the man was previously refused bail, but intends to seek High Court Bail soon.
As directions from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) were not ready on the date in question, Judge Zaidan adjourned the matter to a date in June.
He remanded the accused in custody until the case resumes.
DPP directions are expected on the next date.
