Kildare County Council will host a free briefing on the recently published Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) guidelines.

The online briefing will take place on Friday 7th June from 9.30am – 1pm for those who prepare and design development proposals and make planning applications.

The briefing event will provide further information for people to better understand the relevance of the Guidelines and to help putting together new development proposals in County Kildare.

Whether you are planning to design new housing, non-residential or mixed-use developments, the session will demystify SuDS and set out the design process and what’s expected from new development proposals and planning applications.

The briefing, which will include a Q&A, will be given by McCloy Consulting who prepared the guidelines for Kildare County Council. McCloy are experts in designing Sustainable Drainage Systems. The briefing will be relevant to all built and natural environment designers, such as landscape architects, engineers, architects, planners, developers or those thinking of making a planning application.

To book your place at the briefing please email the planning department at forwardplanning@kildarecoco.ie. A link to join the meeting will then be issued to all registered attendees.
