Two road closures have been announced by Kildare County Council (KCC) to facilitate the Garda Síochána Mini Stages Rally.
KCC, on behalf of An Garda Síochána Motor Club Mini Stages Rally, gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it intends to close the following roads on Sunday, June 9, 2024: the R415 from the L8026 to the L8101, and the L8101 from the R415 to the L8035.
Both roads will be closed between 8am and 6pm on the date in question.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES
Via – L8026, L8035, R448
Adequate signage and Marshals who will be briefed on alternative routes for motorists, will be in place throughout the routes for the duration of the Rally.
Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána, KCC has said.
KCC added that emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
