Work has started on 18 new homes in Athgarvan.
The properties are being built in the Blackrath Vale area off the Curragh Road.
The houses are detached and semi-detached and single storey in height.
A new pedestrian connection will be provided to the west of the site to provide access to an adjacent approved housing scheme.
Other works will include roads, paths, car parking and landscaping.
The total site is over 1.39 hectares.
