Green light for extension for Kildare primary school

Good news for Enfield

Plans have been approved for an extension to a school in North Kildare, worth over €800,000. 

A planning application was submitted to Kildare County Council by Newtown National School in Enfield.

The green light has been given for a single storey extension to the rear of the existing single storey school building.

The designs feature a two-classroom Special Education Unit, an Special Education Teacher room and a plant room.

The floor area of the proposed extension is 463sqm.

The plans also include a secure external soft play area, according to Construction Information Services database.
