Allegedly made demand for €2,500 — claim heard in Kildare court

A Sallins resident allegedly threatened someone over an alleged €2,500 debt.

The allegation was heard in Naas District Court on Thursday, February 22 last.

Kalem Carey, with an address listed as 13 Liffey Square, Castlefen in Sallins, but who is remanded in custody, appeared before Judge Desmond Zaidan via video-link on the date in question.

Gardaí alleged that the 19-year-old committed the offence at a property in Castlefen on February 7 last.

Judge Desmond Zaidan adjourned the case to March 7 in order to allow time for directions from the Director of Public Prosecutions.
