Four brand-new apartments have been proposed for Kildare town.
Planning permission documents show that an applicant named Michael Purcell, is seekimg to make the changes at 654 Melitta Road in Kildare town.
Mr Purcell is seeking permission for the demolition of an existing single-storey house on site, in addition to permission for the construction of a two storey detached apartment block consisting of four apartments: three two-bedroom apartments and one one-bedroom apartment.
He is also seeking permission for landscaping, bin and bike store, entrance, connection to foul and surface water and all associated site works.
The date received is listed as February 15 last, while the submission-by and due dates are listed for March 20 and April 10 respectively.
