KILDARE: Plan for new GP surgery in Kildare town

 Leitrim GPs are stretched due to  doctor shortage

Kildare County Council has approved plans for a new doctor's surgery in Kildare town. 
 
The facility will be located in the Ruanbeg Crescent residential area off the Dublin Road. 
 
The Council granted planning permission for the change of use of part of a ground floor residential apartment to a doctor's surgery/clinic.

The gross floor area of the new facility is 55.8 square metres. 

The cost of the conversion is estimated at around €80,000, according to Construction Information Services database.
