A new healthcare clinic has been proposed for Edward Street in Newbridge.
Planning permission documents lodged with Kildare County Council show that Treacy Courtyard Developments Limited is seeking permission for the change of use of Unit 10 on Edward Street for the clinic.
Specifically, the company is seeking a change of use from a two-storey retail unit to a two-storey healthcare clinic (of 196 square metres), which will comprise of a waiting area, assessable W/C, offices and consultation rooms.
The application, which is currently in the pre-validation stage, also proposes extending the first floor mezzanine by 27sqm, while the external elevations would remain unchanged.
The date received on the application is listed as December 21 last, while the submission-by and due dates are listed as February 2 and February 23 respectively.
According to the business information website SoloCheck.ie, Treacy Courtyard Developments Ltd was established back in 2007.
It specialises in the 'development and selling of real estate' and also trades as the 'Treacy Group.'
