A man made phone calls to an aunt during which he made sexual comments.
It was alleged at a Naas District Court sitting that the man, a nephew of the injured party, was “pleasuring himself.”
Sgt Dave Hanrahan told the court that the woman got a number of phone calls from an unknown male.
He added she got the calls on an ongoing basis on dates in 2021 and 2022.
The court was told that there was no physical contact in the case.
Judge Desmond Zaidan accepted the case for hearing in the district court.
He adjourned the matter. The judge also imposed reporting restrictions to protect the anonymity of the woman.
