A total of 26 new homes ae planned in a new €5m development in Monasterevin.
A planning application was submitted to Kildare County Council by Brook Advantage Limited for the proposed dwellings on a one hectare site at Oldgrange, Rathangan Road.
The plans provide for the demolition of an existing house and garage.
The 26 dwellings.will consist of houses and apartments ranging between three-bedrooms to one-bedroom.
A new recessed access road off the R414 is planned with vehicular connection and pedestrian connections to Oldgrangewood housing scheme.
A new cycle lane and footpaths are also in the designs.
