Gardaí launch information appeal following incident near Kildare-Dublin border

Anyone with any information in relation to this incident or video footage is asked to contact the investigation team.

An Garda Síochána (AGS) has launched an information appeal following an incident near the Kildare-Dublin border.

A spokesperson for AGS explained: "Gardaí in Clondalkin are appealing for information following an incident which occurred in Clondalkin, Dublin 22 on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.

"A man, aged in his 30s, was discovered at Cherrywood Villas with a number of injuries shortly before 5pm.

"He was later taken to Tallaght University Hospital. He is currently in a serious but stable condition."

"No arrests have been made at this time."
 
Anyone with any information in relation to the incident or who has video footage of the incident is being asked to contact the investigation team.

The spokesperson added: "In particular, witnesses who may have been in the Kilcarberry and Cherrywood Villas areas of Clondalkin between 4.45pm to 5.15pm on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
 
"Gardaí can be contacted at Clondalkin Garda Station on 01 666 7600 , the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station."
