An apartment development is being proposed at the rear of a pub.
A total of eight apartments are planned for a site behind An Gobar Saor in Kildare town.
A planning application was submitted to Kildare County Council by Superior Pipeline Projects Limited.
The developers are seeking approval for the demolition of existing out buildings to accommodate proposed development.
Being planned is a 2 storey apartment building comprising eight apartments.
Included are four two-bedroom apartment units and four one-bedroom units.
Connection to existing services is also sought as well as access via an existing entrance from the laneway connecting Firecastle Lane and Claregate Street.
The estimated construction value of the proposed development is almost €1m, according to the Construction Information Services database.
