A rugby club based in South Kildare is seeking planning permission for a new spectator stand, which would incorporate a covered seating area.
Documents lodged with Kildare County Council show that Athy Rugby Club seeks to make the changes at The Showgrounds, Dublin Road, Athy.
Planning permission is also being sought for all associated site works.
The date received is listed as August 31 last, while the submission-by and due dates are listed as October 4 and October 25 respectively.
