KILDARE: Local GAA club gets permission for floodlights

Kildare County Council has granted planning permission for floodlights at a local GAA club.

Two Mile House GAA Club has been approved for four 15m high floodlighting masts to its existing playing pitch at Harristown Commons. 

Also given the green light is a Skills Wall measuring 28.5 metres long x 5 metres high.

The total estimated construction cost of the project is €80,000, according to Construction Information Services. 

The area of the development is 0.6 hectares.
