Kildare company has become the first approved industry training centre in Europe

Kildare company, Manguard Plus, Ireland’s largest Irish owned security company, has become the first approved industry training centre in Europe.

 

The International Foundation for Protection Officers (IFPO) has announced the global launch of the Approved Training Centre (ATC) scheme, with Manguard Plus becoming the first security company in Europe to achieve ATC status. This groundbreaking initiative underpins the IFPO's mission of elevating the security sector through rigorous education and certification.

 

Manguard Plus, a leader in the Irish security, Headquartered in Naas, with offices across the island of Ireland, has not only  achieved substantial success over the last two years in promoting the Certified Protection Officer (CPO) and Certified in Security Supervision and Management (CSSM) certifications in Ireland, but has also been recognised for its commitment to excellence. Together with IFPO, they were proud recipients of the Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPA) in 2022 and 2023 for the Certified Protection Officer program.
