Tánaiste Micheál Martin paid a visit to Newbridge train station this afternoon to discuss commuter issues such as more equitable fares for workers.
The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Defence and Fianna Fáil leader met with local representatives including Senator Fiona O'Loughlin and Mayor of the local Municipal District Cllr Noel Heavey.
Mr Martin also held talks with Cllr Anne Connolly and James Garvin.
