Kildare court: Juvenile caught with cannabis haul worth an estimated €6,600

ALLEGED

A teenage boy based is alleged to have been in possession of a suspected cannabis haul in County Kildare.

That's according to gardaí who appeared at Naas District Court on Thursday, July 19 last during an in-camera (in private) court session.

Presiding Judge Deirdre Gearty was told that the estimated value of the haul is €6,600.

It was also alleged that €350 in cash was found by gardaí.

Judge Gearty adjourned the case to a date in October to allow time for directions from the Director of Public Prosecutions.

An official drug analysis certificate is also expected on this date.

The judge marked the case peremptory against the State.
