A total of 132 new homes are being planned as part of a large scale residential development on a 4 hectare site in Athy.
The development lands are located to the north of the Athy Distributor Road which is currently under construction.
The proposed development is also east of Branswood residential estate and south of Tonlegee Lawns and Holm Court residential estates and west of Fortbarrington road.
The proposed development will comprise of 132 residential units along with a two storey creche.
The residential units will comprise: 102 two storey, semi-detached/terraced houses
Also planned is three storey duplexes/apartments within two bocks.
All residential units will be provided with associated private gardens, balconies, terraces facing to the north, south, east and west.
Also proposed are new vehicle and pedestrian/cyclist) access to the development.
The estimate construction value of the planned project is €22m, according to Building Information Ireland database.
