A two-storey community centre has been proposed for Kildare town, according to planning permission documents lodged with Kildare County Council.
The Kildare Town Community Development Association has sought permission to construct the centre at Maple Lawns in Bishopsland, Kildare town.
The development would consist of the construction of the centre (around 680 square metres), in addition to: storage sheds, connection of foul water to public sewer, surface water to soakaways, ancillary car parking area, multipurpose hard standing area, sports pitches, associated landscaping and boundary treatments, new recessed vehicular entrance along existing Meadow Court Estate Road, and all associated site works.
The date received is listed as June 30, while the submission-by and due dates are listed as not listed on the application at present.
