KILDARE: Bollards needed for child safety in Naas

No signalled controlled crossing planned for Sallins Road in Naas Naa

Sallins Road, Naas

A call has been made for bollards to be provided along part of a busy Naas route.

Local politician Anne Breen wants the protective measure to be considered along the footpath area from Fr Murphy Place to the traffic lights at Hollywood Park, on the Sallins Road.

Cllr Breen said that this in the interests of protecting the safety of school children attending the nearby St Mary's College and Mercy Convent Primary School.
