Free parking for forthcoming Kildare festival

Pay parking is to be suspended - at one location - for the duration of a forthcoming festival.

Cllr Evie Sammon asked that Kildare County Council suspend parking fees in Hedermans car park, off Friary Road, Naas.

This will be done for the Wild Food Festival, which will run from September 8 to  September 10 next in the town.

Her request was voted through at a Naas Municipal District meeting.
