Man was allegedly found with €1,400 worth of suspected cocaine in Kildare garda station

A man was allegedly found with €1,400 worth of suspected cocaine on his person at Kildare town garda station.

The accusations relate to one Fabian Moore, with an address listed as Maryville in Kildare town.

The 26-year-old defendant was brought into Naas District Court on Thursday, May 25, for the execution of a bench warrant against him.

Judge Desmond Zaidan was told by gardaí present that Mr Moore was discovered with the suspected drugs on his person at the station on July 29, 2021.

It was also claimed that he had a small amount of cannabis with him on the date in question.

The judge accepted jurisdiction over the case, and remanded Mr Moore on continuing bail until the case resumes for hearing on a a date in October.
