A temporary road closure has been announced by Kildare County Council (KCC) for South Kildare.
KCC gives notice on behalf of Arkil, that in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993, that it will be closing the following road: the L8011 from its junction with the R418 to its junction with the L8016.
The closure will take place from Thursday, June 1, to Friday, June 2, 2023 between the hours of 7am and 9pm, and is being implemented in order to facilitate road maintenance works on this route.
Traffic travelling on the L8016 proceed westerly to junction with the R418, turn right, and proceed to Rock, R418, next junction on right.
Traffic travelling on the R418 proceed to next junction, Rathsillagh, with the L8016, turn left, and proceed to Castlefarm next junction on left.
"Any inconvenience caused is regretted," KCC said.
