Gardaí in Kildare recently seized a Heavy Good Vehicle (HGV) 'with numerous dangerous defects' in the north of the county.
According to the official Garda Traffic account on Twitter: "Naas Roads Policing Unit carried out a multi-agency checkpoint in North Kildare when they seized a HGV with numerous dangerous defects, including badly damaged break (sic) discs and cracked crossmember on the rear axle."
"The vehicle was seized and court is to follow," the account added.
