Naas
There's been a call for a new temporary car park in Naas.
Local politician Seamie Moore said it should be provided at Fairgreen, close to the lakes area and Naas Hospital.
He has tabled a motion for the next local augthority meeting requesting that Kildare County Council consider using "the Fairgreen amenity" as a public temporary car parking amenity "during the huge disruption of the roads construction works in that area."
He is referring to the project to provide new cycle lanes and footpaths along Kilcullen Road, which has led to traffic movement disruption.
