A new horse riding school has been proposed for a region in North Kildare.
Planning permission documents lodged with Kildare County Council show that one Vincent Dempsey is proposing the development at the Laragh Demesne in Maynooth.
Specifically, the development will consist of: the change of use of an existing agricultural shed to horse stalls for riding school use, the change of use of an existing sand arena to riding school use, and the change of use of existing hard standing to car parking and use ancillary to a riding school.
In addition, permission is being sought by Mr Dempsey for the provision of a new wastewater treatment system, the provision of an effluent storage tank, and the construction of a new toilet block/ cloak room, as well as retention planning permission for an existing road entrance and access road.
The date received is listed as March 24 last, while the submission-by and due dates are listed as April 27 and May 18.
