A junction box is needed outside Sallins railway station.

Cllr Anne Breen said residents living nearby believe a junction is necessary.

She told a Naas Municipal District meeting that traffic is coming and going from the station at all times and drivers have to go to the middle of the road to execute a left turn leaving the station.

According to Kildare County Council, it  will assess the provision of a yellow box junction at this location “in line with the relevant technical guidance document.”
